How old / young are you? 36 What is your occupation? Care Coordinator at First Light Home Care When did you join Widespread CrossFit? October 2015 Why did you decide to give CrossFit a try? My boss was competing in GGRX and invited me to come cheer her on. I was amazed by all the bad ass women and wanted to give it a try. What was your athletic background before starting CrossFit? Snowboarding and occasional climbing What changes in your health, physique, and overall performance have you seen since starting CrossFit? I’ve seen so many changes but the best thing is my 13 year old son has to keep up with me now! What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting CrossFit? Get on a good nutrition program and be consistent. What is your favorite and least favorite CrossFit exercises / movement? Pull ups and just about anything with the bar are my favorite! I’m not a fan of wall balls. They definitelyaren’t my favorite. What is your most memorable CrossFit moment so far? My very 1st WOD. It was just the trial to see if it was something I would like. I don’t think I even got half way through.  I must be crazy because I decided to come back for more. What do you like to do outside of CrossFit? Snowboard and spend time with my boys. What is your favorite “cheat” food or meal? Pizza. I could live on pizza What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I’m kind of boring and pretty much an open book. The only thing that really surprises people is that I have a 18 year old son. Who or what inspires you the most? My gramma. What is one goal you would like to accomplish through CrossFit? A long, healthy and active life. I work with elderly people everyday that can barely even sit up. I never want to be that helpless.
