"I just turned 49"
After recovering from a car accident and finishing up physical therapy, I was told I needed to continue strength training.
I was a regular practitioner of yoga and noticed this new CrossFit gym that went in next door. I was intrigued but slightly intimated thinking I needed to be ultra fit to step into a CrossFit gym.
After meeting with Matt Kirkendall and sharing my concerns, he assured me CrossFit can be for anyone at any level, so I decided to give it a try. I finished the beginner on-ramp training and never looked back. One of the best decisions of my life, making CrossFit a lifestyle. I am stronger, gained more lean muscle mass, have more energy, and my yearly physical showed improved numbers on all my blood-work.
I just turned 49 and have not felt this strong since my 20’s. My family saw the lifestyle improvements and also joined, my 17 yr old son and my husband both are Widespread CrossFit members.
