How old/young are you? I am 26 years old. What is your occupation? Currently, I am a nursing student. When did you join Widespread Fitness? I joined Widespread Fitness about 10 months ago. Why did you decide to give Widespread Fitness a try? I decided to join Widespread Fitness to challenge myself in a new area. This is my first time participating in CrossFit. What was your athletic background before starting? Before starting, I didn’t have much of an athletic background. Most of the time I would participate in group activities such as Zumba and yoga. What changes in your health, physique, and overall performance have you seen since starting? Since starting there have been many changes. These include weight loss, increased strength, and flexibility. What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting? I would recommend just starting and not to worry! Widespread Fitness’s environment is inviting, and the coaches always observe and prioritize safety. What is your favorite and least favorite exercises / movement? My favorite exercise is the barbell deadlift, and my least favorite is running. What is your most memorable moment so far? My most memorable moment so far was being able to complete a double-under! What do you like to do outside of the gym? Outside of the gym, I like to watch true crime documentaries. What is your favorite “cheat” food or meal? My favorite “cheat” food is Lays Potato chips. What is something people would be surprised to know about you? Something people would be surprised to know is that I am a travel junkie. I love being in different environments learning about different cultures. Who or what inspires you the most? My dad inspired me the most due to the hardship he went through and how he conquered it. What is one goal you would like to accomplish? One goal I would like to accomplish is being able to complete a full pull-up without assistance.
