How old / young are you? 25yrs What is your occupation? Death Investigation (Yes. I’m 100% serious.) When did you join Widespread CrossFit? June 2016 Why did you decide to give CrossFit a try? I did CrossFit when I was 16-17, however, once I went off to college, I stopped going. Last June I decided that the only gym I’ve ever enjoyed going to was CrossFit, so I decided to sign back up. What was your athletic background before starting CrossFit? When I was in high school, I played volleyball and was in the marching band. But since that time, I haven’t really done anything too athletic except for my job. What changes in your health, physique, and overall performance have you seen since starting CrossFit? Once I really buckled down with trying to come consistently and stick to the nutrition plan, I’ve slimmed down and lost body fat. I’m also able to perform my job better as well, which is really helpful. What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting CrossFit? Every single workout will be hard and kick your butt. Do it anyways. What is your favorite and least favorite CrossFit exercises / movement? Favorite: power cleans, deadlifts, rowing Least Favorite: ring dips, burpees over the bar. What is your most memorable CrossFit moment so far? When I started linking my double unders. What do you like to do outside of CrossFit? I really love reading. What is your favorite “cheat” food or meal? Pho and Pancakes. What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I deal with death on a daily occurrence and it’s a normal part of my life (please refer to to the occupation question above). Who or what inspires you the most? I’m inspired mostly be a constant need to compete with myself and always try to be my best version. What is one goal you would like to accomplish through CrossFit? To (keep) pushing myself to new limits and PRs.
