Why did you decide to give Widespread Fitness a try?
I was dealing with a lot of stress and grief of losing my Mom. My husband, who had already
joined this gym, encouraged me to join as well, believing that the supportive community,
excellent coaches and regular exercise would help me cope. His own positive experiences with
the gym made me hopeful that it could provide a much-needed outlet for my emotions. I was
also drawn to the gym’s diverse workout programs, that offered a variety of exercise to keep my
fitness routine interesting and effective.
Joining this gym has been incredibly beneficial in both physically and mentally, helping me stay
motivated and improving my overall well-being.
What was your athletic background before starting?
Before starting at Widespread fitness, I was primarily focused on yoga. I was practicing various
asanas like sun-salutations, bridge pose, downward dog etc. which helped me stay mindful.
What changes in your health, physique, and overall performance have you seen since
starting?
I am seeing significant improvements in my physique, strength and overall fitness. My stamina
has increased, and I feel much stronger and more toned. Also, Kari’s nutrition program is
helping me perform better in workouts and boosting my confidence and overall physical wellbeing.
What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting?
Commit to a regular workout schedule. Listen to coaches as they are there to support your
progress and ensure you are exercising safely and effectively. Try to challenge yourself and set
achievable goals that motivate you.
What is your favorite and least favorite exercises / movement?
My favorite exercises are cleans, back squats, sit ups, box jump. My least favorite exercises are
snatches, wall balls, running.
What is your most memorable moment so far?
First time 2000m run during Murph workout was challenging for me but was fun.
What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Cooking, hiking, travelling.
What is your favorite “cheat” food or meal?
Chicken Biryani, Indian sweets and Ice-Crème.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I have joined a gym for the first time ever.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My family with their solid support and encouragement. Their support motivates me to stay
determined and keep pushing forward.
What is one goal you would like to accomplish?
Double Unders.
