What is your occupation?
When did you join Widespread Fitness?
Why did you decide to give Widespread Fitness a try?
I was looking for a gym in the area and someone I knew was friends with Matt and Kari and highly recommended Widespread.
What was your athletic background before starting?
I did CrossFit for a while until the gyms shut down during COVID. I’ve had a hard time getting back to being consistent since.
What changes in your health, physique, and overall performance have you seen since starting?
I have more energy and I feel like I can get through workouts better than when I started.
What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting?
Just do it. It’s hard, but it’s worth it.
What is your favorite and least favorite exercises / movement?
I think my favorite is back squats and my least favorite is either thrusters or burpees.
What is your most memorable moment so far?
For me, it’s all about the little things – being able to do moves I couldn’t before or being able to do higher weights.
What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Read and walk/hike
What is your favorite “cheat” food or meal?
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Depends who you ask I guess, but I’m mostly an open book, so I can’t think of anything.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My parents. I genuinely don’t know how they survived raising me.
